Replacing my previous Mafate Speed 4
The shoe has the same sole and is lighter but the new upper make it tight all around my feet causing blisters and tighness on longer runs on technical terrain. I will keep it for non technical short runs probably 8 to 10 miles max.

Looks great and comfortable.
This shoes has just a right amount of cushion and it feels very light. To me, this is the best HOKA.

Great but not perfect
I have only had my new Mafate Speed 4 Lites for a few hike/runs and generally like them alot, but do have concern about the back of the shoe rubbing my heal at the base of my achilles in a way that could cause blistering after a longer distance. The shoe looks red on line, but it was orange as orange can be. Still waiting on the Speedgoat 2 in tomato to return. I'll buy them immediately!!!
