Stability

The Mafate X contains our J-Frame(TM) technology designed to prevent excessive inward roll, or overpronation, without overcorrecting your gait.

The Mafate X contains features that make the shoe inherently stable, such as a wide base and our Active Foot Frame, for a moderate amount of stability that is still designed to work for neutral gaits.

The Mafate X features a symmetrical bed of cushion without additional prescriptive technologies. Designed to provide the support you want and nothing you don't.

Cushion

The Mafate X features a low-profile cushion bed that keeps your foot closer to the ground, and utilizes a firmer material designed to provide an efficient push-off.

The Mafate X is designed to provide protective cushion while maintaining a responsive toe-off for when you want to go faster.

The Mafate X features a higher bed of soft cushion, designed to provide a forgiving impact and ride.

Hoka is a wonderful shoe company.

These shoes have helped me reduce my suffering and regain the ability to take longer walks, improving my health significantly. Best pair of HOKA I have ever worn!

Let me preface this that I have worn at least 6 different models / styles of HOKA's and these are by far my favorite. These are like the Rivian of shoes - they are insane offroad with incredible handling but also do great as a daily driver. I like them so much I have a back up pair ready when my cur...

    Stable Comfort

The Mafate X is a very comfortable and stable shoe. My running days are over, but I still only wear any Hoka model with a carbon fiber sole due to feet issues. I'd like to see Transport X come back. Just for a more understated look, but the black Mafate X are an excellent versatile shoe that can be ...

    Excellent fit. Flawless traction.

Perfect for hiking the Red Rock National Park trails. I'll always pick Vibram soles. Love the color combination used. I enjoy my Clifton 10s in a size 10.
