Ready to propel you through gnarly terrain, the Tecton X 3 adds winglets to its carbon fiber plates for extra stability in just the right spots, and two layers of PEBA in the midsole—our lightest, most resilient compound. Redesigned lug shape and positioning on a Vibram® Megagrip with Litebase outsole provide better traction, while a dynamic vamp allows feet to splay as the miles fly by. Topping it off, a knit collar extends up from the tongue like a gaiter to mitigate trail debris, and a lightweight Matryx® textile upper makes this version more durable and trail-worthy than ever.

Item No. 1155112

Features:
  • Gaiter-like extended knit collar
  • Matryx® textile upper
  • Ghillie lace construction

  • Speed-centric MetaRocker™
  • Vibram® Megagrip Litebase outsole with Traction Lug

    My new favorite trail runners

Had to find a new favorite trail shoe as a competitor discontinued my favorites. I've tried a few other, but nothing came close to what I was used to until I tried these. Love them and the built in gaiter is a plus. Thank you!

    The trails are more fun

I recommend this shoe for runners who are looking for a lightweight and fun trail shoe to run in. The energy return helps keep your legs fresher for longer, especially on long runs. For a plated shoe, it still has enough cushion that it doesn't feel like a plated shoe. It isn't the best shoe for sup...

This is my 2nd Pair of Tecton X3's !!!

As of today. . these are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. Though I initially purchased these for Hiking and Trailing Running. . . they are honestly also great running and everyday shoes.

    Comfortable stable and fast

This is a take from a marginally successful (ultra)trail runner who can win races if the right people don't show up. This shoe is perfect for flying on technical trails for distances up to and exceeding 50 to 100 miles. It is way more stable than the ASU and rolling your ankles isn't a concern even ...

    This is my second pair

I abuse these shoes. Im a stonemason contractor and these are my daily shoes. 45 years of work in hard leather boots left me with sore feet. The plush footbed provides relief from foot pain and the carbon filled plates provide plenty of lateral support. They lugs discharge mud and debris quickly for...

    Amazing trail shoe.

I've used these for trail running on various terrain. Great on buffed out trails and technical trails alike. The cushion teamed up with the carbon plate makes for an amazing feel while running. This model also is more spacious than the prior Tectons which adds to the comfort.

Probably the best training shoe on the market, slow or fast.

Bought these to pace someone during their 100M effort and then subsequently used them for a R3 excursion. Plush the whole way on all efforts. I've had some wider toe box shoes recently so these felt a little narrow but that caused no issues. The amount of cushion, depth of lugs, and sock like gaiter...

    Most comfortable shoe ever

I ran a 50K with this shoe right out of the box. I had my backup shoes available if any issues. No issues at all. I love them.
