HOKA Hackney Moves
The whole point of running Hackney, you don’t really run it, you fly it. Get race ready and fly with us in 2027.
HOKA Hackney Half
Originating in 2014, the Hackney Half has become a highlight of the running year in London. Now one of the largest half marathons in the UK, the race attracts over 24,000 runners each year.
The Hackney Half is renowned for its festive atmosphere, with live music, street art, and a community of supporters, with the capital’s running clubs rallying together to find their spot on the course to cheer runners on.
The HOKA Hackney Half is the main event of HOKA Hackney Moves, a weekend festival making it a great day for both runners and spectators.
The Course
Enjoy the streets, sights and sounds of East London.
The race starts and finishes at Hackney Marshes, with runners passing through the iconic landmarks of Hackney’s Mare Street Market, Hackney Town Hall, Hackney Wick and Victoria Park.
Lift Hackney
Off the back of the HOKA Hackney Half 2026, we want to support community initiatives that are already bringing people together. Whether it’s a run club, or a wider project, HOKA will support one standout initiative with resources and funding of up to £40,000 to help take it to the next level. Share your initiative before 31 May for a chance to win.
